How much weight can you lose on the cabbage soup diet in a month? Do you know how often I should eat its during a day?

Hello, my name is Lucia, and I’m 25 years old. I want to lose some pounds, and I have heard about the cabbage soup diet. There are so many positive opinions about it.

I read somewhere that prolonged use of cabbage in the diet irritates the stomach mucosa. If one of the specialists can give a qualified consultation on this issue, I would be grateful. The desire to sit on a long diet is long overdue. I think that cabbage fits my attitude.

How much weight can I drop in a month? I have read that it is possible to lose even 10 pounds a week! What do you think about it, is this true? And another my question is how many times a day I should eat while following cabbage soup diet? What meals are allowed?

Can a beef be included in the diet on a cabbage soup? I’m not talking about cooking on broth. And at least boiled meat to eat. Or is it by calorie knocked out their diet plan? And on the fish questions: what kinds of it can I eat? What about redfish, for example?

Hope you can help me, I am waiting for your answers. Thank you a lot!

Hello, Lucia.
Thank you for your question, I will try to help you.
Well, you can lose around 30-40 pounds a month if you rightly follow the diet and do some exercises.
Your nutrition plan should be like this:
1) eat many fruits (except bananas)
2) baked potato and vegetables (expect corn)
3) milk and yoghurt are allowed
4) this one is the most important: eat cabbage soup every day and drink 8 glasses of water!

Hello Lucia and thank you very much for your question!
So, cabbage diet is really useful if you want to lose some weight. You can loose nearly 40 pounds in a month if you stick to this diet and do some exercises to burn calories. Well, you have to have 4-6 meals per day. Here are some dishes for the diet:
– cabbage pancakes/vegetable salad for breakfast
– vegetable soup/diet soup with chicken for dinner
– nuts/grapefruit for snack
– rice without salt and butter/baked cabbages with mushrooms for supper

Hi Lucia!

I have heard about this diet too.Though you should consider the fact that there are always some pros and cons in diets like this:

-dizziness and regular headaches;you can feel depressed;such meal plan (if you want to stick to the soup only) will soon get you so bored you might experience the lack of motivation to continue;your weight loss can be only the temporary one.

+you can loose about 10-15 pounds per week; to help yourself survive thought the process you can also make various low-calories dishes from cabbages/add some spice to soups/eat light fruits;one of the cheapest diets known

Anyways, you also asked about fish. Here’s what I think about: if you’ve actually decided to stick to CABAGGE diet, just do so?I mean, you can eat some fish dishes, but try this only 2-3 times per week.
The thing is, this diet should consist only of cabbage soup, but then…read the “-“ part again.

Many people suggest to add baked potatoes here and a small amount of brown rice.

Hope you’ll find what you want!

Hi, Lucia! Actually, I’m not a big fan of cabbage diet at all. I think that it’s not a very good idea to eat only cabbages for a few weeks or even a month. I mean, of course, you can eat them several times a week if you want, but consuming them everyday could lead to the lack of vitamins and minareals in your organism. I will recommend you to eat everything in small portion sizes 4-6 times a day. Don’t avoid beef, fish or chicken. Just remember that it shouldn’t be cooked with a huge amount of oil. You should better avoid eating sweets and bread. Drink a lot of water, do more exersises and then every diet will be twice more effective!

Hi Lucia! Cabbage soup diet is usually called a short-term weight loss diet. And it’s true. With the help of this diet, you can lose up to 4.5 kg, that is 10 lbs just in 7 days. I am not a specialist, but one must not follow this diet for the whole month without breaks, it’s really not good for your health. Remember this!
