Any healthier grill chicken breasts?

Hello everyone, my name is Leo, and I’m 22 years old. And I’m here again to ask you about healthy food. Hope you won’t ignore my annoying questions.

You know, I have recently started eating healthy food, and I’m still looking for tasty meals. I like eating meat, especially chicken, it’s one of my favourite meals.

Do you know healthy grilled chicken recipes? I want to cook it for dinner today, so I will be pleased if you share some recipes with me. I’m waiting for your answers, thank you a lot.

Also, I would like to add that I swim three times per week. Though I do not do it professionally, (recreationally instead) I am keen on this beautiful sport which is excellent to stay fit.

As far as I know, swimmers should consume a significant number of carbohydrates for energy, but proteins are also essential as a part of their diet.

Chicken is an excellent source of protein, and also one of my favourites. I particularly like the grilled chicken breast accompanied by some substantial garnish, but which should be the best way to cook it? Are there any healthy garnishes to match? Are there any top recipes? Any suggestion will be welcome. Thanks!

Hi Leo! Every way to grill the chicken is ok, but the most usual is by filleting it (before grilling).  If you do that, please remember that chicken breast is low in fat, and because of this, it might be sort of dry when cooked.  

However, if you grill it correctly, and add a little bit of olive oil, or a fresh sauce, or lemon,  or you can even add the marinade of your choice.  Regarding recipes, I can personally recommend you this one. I do it myself, and apart from being delicious, it is healthy and provides some calories ideal for swimmers! Chicken with fruit sauce.

You will need Chicken breasts, mango, pineapple, oranges, kiwifruit, red onion, cumin, cilantro, salt and pepper. You can also experiment using other different sorts of fruits at your will.  For the sauce, you can use lemon, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. 

First, prepare the chicken breasts by combining the lemon juice, soy sauce the garlic and ginger in a small pan. Put the chicken in the pan, cover it and put in the refrigerator for about an hour. 

Secondly, prepare the grill and remove the marinade from the chicken. Grill the chicken until it is ready. The cooking time will depend on the way you grill the chicken (i.e., electric grill, oven, and so on). Just be careful not to overcook it. For the sauce combine the fruit and serve together. Enjoy!

You know, grilled chicken it is really an amazing product. You can eat it even for dinner. Chicken breast is one of the most nutritious meats. Chicken breast is an extremely versatile element of dishes because it can be used for many different dishes and you can even create your own unique recipe for chicken breast.

What do you need:

1. Chicken breast.

2. Hot chili pepper.

3. Garlic ( just for taste).

4. Salt.

5. Different herbs. 

6. Lemon.

How to prepare:

For the grill, we just need the appropriate frying pan! 

– In a bowl mix olive oil, cloves of garlic, pepper, salt and herbs with lemon juice.

– To this marinate add meat.

– Put it in a refrigerator for 2 hours.

– Grilled chicken put into a hot pan and bake for 5 minutes at every side.

– You can serve grilled chicken with any veggie you like ( for instance broccoli or sparge)

Hello, Leo! Here is nice recipe of grill chicken:

You need:

  • 2 lbs boneless & skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
  • 2 large garlic cloves, grated
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Ground black pepper, to taste

Cut chicken breasts into halves lengthwise to make them thinner. Place in a large bowl along with olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. Stir with tongs and let sit for 10 minutes. Preheat grill on medium-high (450-500 degrees F) and rub with oiled paper towel. Place chicken on the grill, close the lid and grill for 8-10 minutes turning once. Do not overcook. Remove from the grill, cover with foil and let rest for 5 minutes. Serve with a side of grain and salad, use in salads or perfect for a meal prep.
