How many vegetables can I eat on keto diet?

Good day everyone, my name is Mary, I am 24, and at the moment I am following the keto diet because I need to lose some weight but not quickly, and it also must be perfect for me. I understand almost everything in this diet but still, I have some questions about it – the most important for me is the number of vegetables that I can consume during the one day of a keto diet. Also, I would like to know what plants I need to avoid and why and what can I eat without harm to my body. Thanks for the help!

Hello, Mary. I cannot agree to any dieting plan without plants rich in vitamins, minerals and fiber. Can you? Keto diet certainly allows some vegetables, the ones that are low in calories and carbs, in particular. The ones that are NOT starchy like beets, potatoes, winter squash, carrots, pumpkin etc. A little portion of them is fine! Just keep in mind they contain too many carbs for your day limits plan. Cauliflower, kale, broccoli, peppers, asparagus, cucumber, eggplant, mushrooms, onion, sprouts, zucchini, tomatoes and more. Good luck!
