Rosemary summer lemonade during fall

If you still want to enjoy the summer sun in the background of fall chill, then this sweet, effervescent mixture is just for you. It is said that rosemary contains antidepressant and anti-inflammatory properties for nothing. Rosemary lemonade can be used as an emollient for coughing, a tonic for angina or just as a stimulant of immunity.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup lime juice (around 6 limes)
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 2 limes zest
  • 2 branches fresh rosemary
  • 4-6 cups cooled sparkling water

Instructions

  • Mix the lemon juice with sugar in a small bowl and let it boil on medium fire.
  • Reduce the fire, and cook, stirring frequently, until the sugar completely dissolves.
  • Add the lemon zest and rosemary branches.
  • Cook in low fire for another minute, then turn the fire off.
  • Cover and let it stay in the refrigerator for the night.
