Can you suggest any healthy salmon recipes? from Eva Moore
Hi, guys! What’s up? I am having a very important dinner in a week, so I decided to make it delicious and pretty healthy. I was thinking about serving fish as the main course. Have been feeling bad and boujee lately, so I figured salmon would do just perfectly.
On the other hand, the experience I had with salmon is eating it on a piece of buttered bread. Now that I’m through with butter and wheat bread I want to know more about cooking salmon. I thought of steaming it to make it extra healthy and preserve all the nutrients, but this will not be very impressive to my guests. The last thing I want is for it to be bland. Boiled fish is something not so suitable for a celebration dinner, so I would like you to write some other ways to cook salmon.
Please help me out with the following questions:
- What should I serve with salmon?
- Is there a healthy side sauce I can serve?
- Are there any preferred beverages that go with fish?
- Which seasonings should I add and how much?
I would be really happy and pleased to read all your recipes. Thanks a lot!
Hello!
I know some healthy and tasty recipes with salmon. So here I will share with you one good for the party. I choose grilled salmon with potato puree and spinach.
You will need:
300 g of salmon
2 tablespoons of olive oil
sea salt freshly ground black pepper
Puree
400 g potatoes
50 g butter
100 ml of fondant cream
salt, white pepper
Spinach
3 handfuls of fresh spinach with small leaves
3 tablespoons of olive oil
Prepare:
Salmon: Wash, dry and remove the bones, cut the fillet in half, leave the bell whole. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, smear with olive oil. Place on a hot grill pan and grill for 2-3 minutes on each side. Be careful not to dry the salmon, it must be soft inside and crunchy from the outside.
Mash potatoes: Boil potatoes in lightly salted water, strain and immediately thoroughly crush into a uniform and smooth mass (using a potato press), gradually add butter and cream. Season with salt and white pepper.
Spinach: Wash, dry thoroughly and put in a pan, season with salt and pepper, pour olive oil and stir slightly frying for a while. As soon as the spinach fades, remove the pan from the fire, squeeze the spinach, and pour out the remaining liquid from the pan.
Plates heat (eg held water and hold under the cloth), arrange a portion of potatoes, try to give them a nice shape, put a spinach on top and half a salmon bell. The plate drizzle with cream, creating blots or a stream around the dish. Sprinkle with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Serve with a lemon slice
Hope you like it and will have an amazing party!
