How to do step exercising properly at home? What kinds of step exercises are the most helpful? from Kelly Westwood
Hi, girls! Recently I’ve heard from my close friend a story about her great experience with step exercises. She said that she always had some problems with obesity since childhood and that it was extremely complicated for her to lose weight. She tried very hard, she was trying everything, and only now she discovered step exercises for herself.
What do you think about these workouts? How to do step exercising properly at home? What kinds of step exercises are the most helpful? Are they suitable for everyone? Whether there are some exceptions and prohibitions to do such training?
Is step aerobics really effective in losing weight? What special equipment is needed to buy? Maybe is it better to buy stepper simulator? How many calories is burned during 1 hour of intensive step workout?
Just let me know what you think. Thanks!
Hello Blum! Try:
Step by Step
Want to take your fitness level to new heights? Scale a flight of stairs. You’ll crank up your heart rate, burn fat, and engage your glutes, hamstrings, quadriceps, and core more intensely than you would treading on flat ground.
Varied Pacing
To get blood flowing in your legs, climb the stairs slowly, keeping your shoulders back and looking straight ahead, then walk down. Repeat three more times. Next, run up the stairs, then walk down.
Triceps Stair Dip
Sit on the edge of the second or third step with your arms at your sides. Pressing down on your palms, lift your buttocks a bit off the step. Extend your legs, resting your heels on the floor. (If you have back issues, keep your feet flat on the floor and bend your legs at 90 degrees.) Slowly lower your rear by bending your arms at 90 degrees. Press back up to the starting position. This is one rep; do 10. Now run up the stairs, then walk down. Do 10 more dips.
