How to cook a healthy meal in general? What tips can you give? from Mary Lace
Hello everybody, my name is Wendy and this is my last (hooray!) question for today about healthy food, it’s cooking and any specific recipes. But I want to ask you in general, not specifically – how to cook the healthy meal? It doesn’t matter whether it is breakfast/dinner/supper/lunch, also doesn’t matter the ingredients for this meal – I want to get more information about tips for cooking – what to strongly avoid, what to add when it is better to cook some dishes and so on. I guess everyone here has a little own trick for cooking, please pass some of them here. Thank you very much for your help!
Nice question, Wendy! First of all, be creative, modify your favorite recipes so that they contain fewer calories – replace butter with greek yogurt, sugar with sweetener, greasy meat with its healthier analog etc. Vegetables save more vitamins when you cook them in steam or microwave oven instead of traditional boiling. Avoid deep frying, there are much healthier ways like baking or grilling. If you still fry, put the dish on paper to absorb extra oil. Use herbs and spices for better metabolism and vitamins. More fresh fruit and vegetables is a priority. Take care!
Hi!
This is a really good question. Thank you for it. It is said that cooking a healthy meal takes a lot of your time. But it is not true.
So I will give you some of my favorite methods of cooking healthy meals. Let’s begin.
First of all, if you want to cook healthy, buy such products. Make sure that there is always a lot in your fridge and kitchen: vegetables, fruit, whole grain cereal products, groats, legumes, seeds, seeds, grains and nuts healthy herbs and spices.
If you are a very overworked person, then try to make week plan of a meal. Do not buy sweets, highly processed products, as well as fatty foods, rich in a huge amount of trans and saturated fats.
Please limit sugar, salt, and pepper also some seasonings. Remember also, that frying is not healthy and it is much better to decide on:
cooking with steam,
cooking,
baking.
Stay healthy and fitty!
Hello!
Some people skip breakfast because they think it will help them lose weight. In fact, research shows that people who regularly eat breakfast are less likely to be overweight. Breakfast has also been shown to have positive effects on children’s mental performance and increase their concentration throughout the morning. A healthy breakfast is an important part of a balanced diet, and provides some of the vitamins and minerals we need for good health. A wholegrain, lower-sugar cereal with fruit sliced over the top is a tasty and nutritious breakfast. And eat less salt – no more than 6g a day for adults.
