The fitness model was born in Venezuela to a very modest family. She did not know her father, and when she was 14 years old, her mother had broken up with her stepfather who did not leave them any money.

“Only an apartment without furniture and hundreds of cockroaches. It was a very psychologically difficult time, and both of us (my mother and I) became skinny because there simply was no money to buy groceries.”

The fact that her height is too small for the model industry didn’t stop Michelle. She knocked on every door of model agencies in Milan, Rome and Barcelona to become a model.
